  • PMC Textiles traces its roots back to 1963, when it was founded by Shri. P.M. Chandraiyan, a passionate handloom weaver who began his weaving journey at the young age of 18.
  • With a deep dedication to traditional craftsmanship, he along with his wife Smt. C. Jayalakshmi established a foundation built on quality and authenticity in textile production.
  • From an early age, his three sons — P.C. Sampath, P.C. Saravanan, and P.C. Venugopal were actively involved in the family trade, assisting their father in weaving.
  • Their shared vision and commitment to innovation led the family to explore new frontiers in textile manufacturing. Recognizing the potential of powerlooms to preserve and enhance the production of traditional clothing, they became pioneers in transitioning from handloom to powerloom technology, ensuring the heritage of traditional wear remained vibrant and accessible.
  • In 2000, the family formalized their collective efforts by establishing PMC Textiles as a partnership company. This marked a significant milestone in their journey, blending decades of expertise with a forward-looking approach to serve customers with the finest textiles rooted in tradition.
